October 24 2020-Tyrone, Georgia-The Sandy Creek High School Patriots softball team hosts the Rockmart High School Yellow Jackets in the second round of the Georgia high school softball playoffs. After splitting the first two games with Rockmart, the Patriots lose game three to the Yellow Jackets.
This Patriot softball team is the first Sandy Creek softball team to win a Region Championship. in 22 years and the first team in 13 years to win a playoff game and the first in school history to win a playoff series. And they did this with only 11 players on the team.
