Blairsville, Georgia. Friday, July 9, 2011. One tired little boy!! Ira and his buddy, Jack (L) completed the requirements for the Boy Scouts of America's One Mile Swim Badge. In order to qualify to take the one mile open water swim, each participant had to pre-qualify by swimming 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile and 3/4 mile on each of the preceding days leading up to the one mile attempt.
