Fayetteville Police Investigate Single Vehicle Crash
January 16, 2022-Fayetteville, Georgia-Around 3:43 P.M., a Fayetteville Police Officer attempts to stop a pickup truck for multiple traffic violations near South Glynn Street and Bradley Drive. The driver of the pickup truck flees from the officer.
A short vehicle pursuit followed, with the Fayetteville Police Officer terminating the pursuit of the the vehicle near North Glynn Street and East Georgia Avenue with the fleeing motorist contining recklessly, northbound

Around 3:46 P.M., officers from the Fayetteville Police and Fire Departments along with the Fayette County Fire and Emergency Services and the Fayette County Sheriff's Department responded to a single vehicle collision with injuries and entrapment at the intersection of North Glynn Street and Creekwood Trail.
Law enforcement quickly determins that the vehicle involved in the crash was the same pickup truck that had previously fled from the attempted traffic stop.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to Grady Hospital in Atlanta for treatment.
