Motorcycle Crash Highway 54 and Tyrone Road
Septembe 23, 2020-Responding to an alert around 7:00 P.M. from the Peachtree City Police Department about two motorcycles speeding over 100 miles per hour east bound on Georgia Highway 54, Deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff's Department intercept and stop both motorcycles at the intersection of Tyrone Road..
During the stop, both motorcycles appeared to have crashed into each other and another vehicle. One suspect is immediately taken into custody. The other suspect takes off on foot down Tyrone Road and into the woods where he is pursued by K-9 officers. The Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies are assisted by Officers from the Fayetteville Police Department. As of this post, it is unknown if the suspect was taken into custody.
