March 25, 2013-Fayette County, GA-The Fayette County Sheriff's Department, working the Fayetteville Police Department pursue and capture three of four male suspects possibly involved in breaking into vehicles in the Fayette Pavilian Shopping Center in Fayetteville, GA and the theft of a van from the same place. A Fayette County Deputy rammed one of the fleeing vehicles head-on in order to stop it. Through the quick response by both departments and the use of tracking dogs from both departments, three of the four suspects were captured quickly. Tracking dogs persued one suspect fleeing north of the crash site for over a mile through woods, yards and heavy underbrush before losing the track near the intersection of Morning Road and GA Highway 279 in north Fayette County.
